"The Illusion of the American College Experience" with Nicole Rafiee

OCTOBER 26th
Hey! I'm Nicole Rafiee (she/her/hers), a full-time content creator on YouTube and full-time student at Temple University in Philadelphia. I also happen to be half Polish and half Iranian, and Polish being my first language. I'm doing this podcast because I love podcasting first of all, but most importantly I am passionate about connecting with other college-aged students to relate with on all the hard things that aren't usually talked about before college, or during college.

"The Hard History of Gynecology and Why it Matters"
With Savannah Fausto

OCTOBER 31
This podcast aims to take a deeper look at the racist and sexist history of gynecology and obstetrics in order to call for much needed overhaul of the still racist practices used today. These blaring issues are highlighted as to validate AFAB patients, particularly people of color, mistrust of the medical community. It is my hope that with this knowledge people are empowered and able to advocate for care that acknowledges and aims to correct the generational trauma caused by the racist history that we discuss.
